Skoda revealed their C-segment sedan Slavia last month. The launch is due for the first quarter of next year and that is when Skoda will reveal the prices. Till then, we will update you with the expected prices for the sedan. Bookings for the Slavia are open for a token amount of Rs. 11,000.

The Slavia will come in 3 variants; Active, Ambition and Style. It will get two engine options; a 1.0L turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Here is our variants explained and recommendation for the Slavia:

The 1.0L engine will get options of a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission. The 1.5L unit will get options of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Here are the specification of both these engines:

We are expecting to see the 2022 Slavia 1.0L turbo petrol manual to cost between Rs. 10.99 lakh and Rs. 14.49 lakh. The 1.0L Ambition automatic and the 1.0L Style automatic could cost Rs. 13.89 and Rs. 15.69 lakh, respectively.

The Style 1.5L manual could carry a premium of Rs. 1.6 lakh over the Style 1.0L manual and carry an ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 16.09 lakh. The Style 1.5L automatic could cost Rs. 1.8 lakh more than the Style 1.0L automatic as it offers a more advanced dual-clutch transmission. So, the Style 1.5L automatic could cost Rs. 17.49 lakh, which is Rs. 1.4 lakh more than the Style 1.5L manual.

The Slavia will go against other C-segment sedans like Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Vento.
