Maruti Suzuki have launched the 2022 XL6 facelift in the Indian market. It comes loaded with new features along with a new powertrain. Here are the top 5 things you need to know about the 2022 XL6 facelift.

Updated Design With Nexa Signature Elements

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 comes with minor cosmetic updates on the outside.. The changes include a revised grille with prominent chrome borders, silver skid plates, 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and smoked LED tail lights.

Gets More Features Than Before

The 2022 XL6 facelift comes loaded with several new features which were not available on the outgoing XL6. Maruti Suzuki have added a 360-degree parking camera, front ventilated seats, perforated leather upholstery, tyre pressure monitoring system and a new touchscreen infotainment system with telematics. With Suzuki Connect, you can pre-cool the cabin through an app on your smartphone before stepping inside the car.

More Safety Features As Standard

With the 2022 XL6 facelift, Maruti Suzuki have improved the list of safety features that are offered as standard across variants. Features like four airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, reverse parking sensors and height-adjustable seatbelts are now standard across the range.

New Powertrain With Improved Fuel Efficiency

The 2022 XL6 facelift comes with a new 1.5L normal petrol engine. Like the new 1.0L and 1.2L normal petrol engines in Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio, the 1.5L also gains dual-jet technology with twin injectors per cylinder. The fuel efficiency figures for the manual and automatic variants now stand at 20.97kmpl and 20.27kmpl respectively. Surprisingly, the fuel efficiency of the XL6 is even more than the Ertiga which gets skinnier tyres.

More Expensive Than Before

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 has become more expensive thanks to the addition of the new features. The XL6 range is now priced from Rs. 11.29 lakh to Rs. 14.55 lakh ex-showroom. It is worth noting that the newly introduced Alpha+ variant has also contributed in the higher asking price for the 2022 XL6 facelift.
