2022 Maruti XL6 To Be Available In 3 Variants – Zeta, Alpha And Alpha+ | V3Cars

After the launch of the Ertiga facelift, Maruti Suzuki are prepping up to launch the XL6 facelift later this month. Our sources have now revealed that Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be offered in three variants – Zeta, Alpha and Alpha+.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 launch is just around the corner and bookings are already open. As stated earlier, Maruti Suzuki will offer the new XL6 facelift in three variants – Zeta, Alpha and Alpha+. Currently, the XL6 is only in Zeta and Alpha variants. The newly-added Alpha+ variant is expected to offer new features like 4 airbags, ventilated seats and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) among other features, which will be revealed at the launch of the premium MPV.

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 will be powered by a new 1.5L normal petrol engine with dual-jet technology and a mild-hybrid system. This engine made its debut with the recently-launched Ertiga facelift. The petrol engine now produces 103PS of power and 136.8Nm of torque. It will get a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The new transmission will replace the ageing 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 5-speed manual, on the other hand, will continue to serve the XL6 manual variants without any changes.

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 will go up against the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift. With the new changes, Maruti Suzuki are likely to charge a premium of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 over the outgoing model.
