The Mahindra Scorpio-N 2022 is set to be unveiled on June 27. While the official details will only be revealed at that date, we got our hands on the leaked power figures of the Scorpio petrol and diesel. Read on to find out more.

Mahindra are likely to offer the 2.2L turbo-diesel engine in two states of tune – 130PS and 160PS. While the torque figures are not out yet, we expect the automatic variants to boast a higher torque figure than the manual counterparts. The 2.0L turbo petrol on the other hand will come in a single 170PS power tune. Its torque output, too, could also vary between manual and automatic transmissions. Mahindra are expected to offer 4-wheel-drive with both petrol and diesel powertrains of the Scorpio-N.

The 2022 Scorpio-N will be offered with an all-new design and the official images also reveal two new exterior shades — green and red. Up front, the Scorpio-N gets Mahindra’s signature grille with 6 vertical chrome slats. The grille is flanked by twin-barrel LED headlights which also incorporate LED turn indicators. The lower part of the bumper gets C-shaped LED DRLs and a silver skid plate.

The side profile of the Scorpio-N features a strong shoulder line, flowing above the wheel arches. It also gets 5-spoke, dual-tone alloy wheels along with rear disc brakes as well. The greenhouse is large, a common trait among all Scorpio models. The teaser video also gives a glimpse of the vertically-stacked LED taillights that are reminiscent of the ones on Volvo’s SUVs. Other features include a shark-fin antenna, functional roof rails, large ORVMs with turn indicators and an electric sunroof.
