To start with, the new Scorpio Classic comes with an all-aluminium engine block that is 55kg lighter than before. Add that weight shedding along with some other advancements and the Scorpio Classic now delivers 14% better fuel efficiency than before. Mahindra also revealed that the new Scorpio Classic now delivers 230Nm of its torque, i.e 77% of its peak torque output, right from 1000rpm.
In addition to that, Mahindra have also added a cable-operated transmission. It improves the shift quality and smoothness along with narrowing down the lever travel between each cog.
