Citroen Open Bookings For C3 Ahead Of July 20 Launch | V3Cars

Citroen India have opened bookings for C3 with a token amount of Rs. 21,000. The launch of the Citroen C3 will take place on July 20. The launch of the C3 will be followed by the more premium C3 Aircross and C3 electric. Both the C3 Aircross and C3 Electric are slated for the year 2023.

Citroen will offer the C3 hatchback in two variants — Live and Feel. In addition to that, Citroen India will also offer a lot of optional features, accessories and colour options. The top-spec Feel variant will come with dual-tone colour as standard with multiple combinations to choose from. Citroen have confirmed the powertrain options of the C3. The India-spec C3 will come with two petrol engines. The 1.2L normal petrol engine is likely to produce 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine is likely to produce 110PS of power and 190Nm of torque. The normal petrol engine will come with a 5-speed manual whereas the turbo petrol engine will get a 6-speed manual. The C3 is not likely to get any automatic transmission option at launch. 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
All power windows
Digital instrument console
Smartphone holder
Manual AC
Internally-adjustable ORVMs
Steering-mounted controls

The Citroen C3 will go up against the Tata Punch, Tiago NRG and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. The C3 is likely to offer class-leading space along with a cushy ride that Citroen is famous for. We expect Citroen to price the C3 hatchback competitively thanks to heavy localisation. It is worth noting that Citroen India will also launch a C3-based electric vehicle in 2023.
