Audi India are all set to launch the 2022 Q7 on February 3rd. The bookings for the new Q7 are already open for a token amount of Rs. 5,00,000. You can book yours either via an Audi dealership or from Audi India’s website. 2022 Audi Q7

Talking about its changes over the earlier model, the 2022 Q7 gets a redesigned grille with vertical slats, updated LED headlights with new LED DRLs, chrome garnish on the boot, new 19-inch alloy wheels, and updated LED taillights.

On the inside, the new Q7 gets an updated dashboard with three screens. The infotainment screen measures 10.1-inch in size and gets both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The second screen measures 8.6-inch in size and is responsible for climate controls and drive select modes. Other features include a virtual cockpit, panoramic sunroof, 30-colour ambient lighting, lane departure warning, 360-degree parking camera, 19-speaker B&O system, four-zone climate control, and adaptive air suspension.

On the powertrain front, the new Q7 comes with a 3.0L turbo V6 petrol engine. It produces 340Hp of power and 500Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive as standard. It also comes equipped with a mild-hybrid system for power assistance and smooth auto start/stop.

2022 Audi Q7 will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Land Rover Discovery, and Volvo XC90. It is worth mentioning that both the GLE and X5 offer seating for 5 passengers only. Even though the Q7 gains a fair bit of advantage with two extra seats, it lacks a diesel engine which both the GLE and X5 have on offer. We expect Audi India to price the 2022 Q7 under Rs. 1 Crore (ex-showroom).
