Loaded With Segment-First Features
The top variants of the Seltos facelift comes loaded with host of features, including dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered driver seat, a panoramic glass roof, a Bose sound system with subwoofer, a head-up display, front parking sensors and level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Segment-Best Dimensions And Power Outputs
Thanks to the updated bumpers at the front and rear, the Seltos facelift is currently the longest SUV in its segment. It is also the widest and the higher variants also offer 18-inch wheels, which are the biggest in the segment. Its 1.5L turbo petrol engine also offers the segment-best power and torque outputs of 160PS and 253Nm, respectively.
Only Other C-Segment SUV With Diesel Engine
The Seltos facelift is the only other SUV apart from the Hyundai Creta to offer a diesel engine in its segment. The Seltos’ 1.5L turbo diesel engine produces 116PS of power and 250Nm of torque. It can be equipped with either a 6-speed auto-clutch manual (ACMT) or a 6-speed torque converter (TC) automatic transmission.

No Wireless Connectivity With Larger Infotainment
The larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system of the Seltos facelift lacks wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Volkswagen Taigun offer wireless connectivity.
Missing Features In Base Variant
The base variant of the Seltos facelift lacks a couple of features over the base variant of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and its Toyota sibling. These features include telescopic steering wheel, LED DRLs, adjustable rear headrests, front and rear armrests, automatic climate control and keyless entry with push-button start/stop.
Lower-mid Variants Lack A Few Essential Features
The lower-mid variants of the Seltos facelift lack a few essential features such as telescopic steering wheel, adjustable rear headrests, LED headlights and split-folding rear seatback.
