The Nissan Magnite is available with 2 petrol engines - a 1.0L normal petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. The 1.0L normal petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual while the 1.0L turbo petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission.

The 1.0L turbo petrol engine in the Nissan Magnite pushes out 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 160Nm of torque between 2800rpm and 3600rpm with the manual transmission and 152Nm of torque between 2200rpm and 4400rpm with the automatic transmission.
The Mahindra XUV300 is available with two 1.2L turbo petrol engine options. While the turbo petrol engine with the lower power and torque rating is available with both a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT automatic transmission, the more powerful turbo petrol is only available with a 6-speed manual. The XUV300’s 1.2L turbo petrol engine with multi-point fuel injection system makes 110PS of power at 5000rpm and 200Nm of torque between 2000rpm and 3500rpm. The XUV300’s 1.2L turbo petrol engine with direct fuel injection system makes 130PS of power at 5000rpm and 230Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3700rpm.
