1. Head-Up Display

The new Fronx compact crossover comes with a head-up display that can be opened and closed with the press of a button. It offers a few vital vehicle information like instantaneous fuel economy, engine RPM and vehicle speed. Furthermore, it offers music playback and turn-by-turn navigation.

2. Tri-Beam LED Headlights

The Fronx gets a rugged front design with a split headlight. While the 3-pot LED DRLs sits at the edge of the bonnet, the Fronx gets a tri-beam LED headlight setup on the lower bumper. The Baleno, on the other hand, comes with a single LED projector headlamp that incorporates both low and high beam. Due to the tri-beam setup, the Fronx misses out on front LED fog lights.

3. Wireless Phone Charger

The new Fronx comes with a wireless phone charger that is not offered with the Baleno hatchback. It sits in the centre console and can also accommodate larger phones. As the Fronx also gets wireless functionality for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, it will offer a seamless experience with the wireless phone charger.

4. Paddle Shifters

The new Fronx comes with a 6-speed manual transmission mated to a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. To lure enthusiasts, Maruti Suzuki have also added paddle shifters with the Fronx. We have earlier seen the inclusion of paddle shifters with the XL6, Ertiga, Grand Vitara and Brezza.

5. Arkamys Sound System

The new Fronx also gets an Arkamys sound system that offers a surround sound experience. Even though it lacks a subwoofer, we were left impressed with the same sound system in the Baleno. Hence, we expect the Arkamys sound system in the Fronx to offer a quality listening experience.

6. 360-Degree Parking Camera

Like the new Baleno, XL6 and Grand Vitara, the new Fronx comes with a 360-degree parking camera. It shows a bird’s eye view while starting the and you can also see the individual feed from all the cameras. Furthermore, it also offers a surround view option that shows the vehicle’s surroundings from the interior as well.

7. 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine

The Fronx marks the return of the 1.0L turbo petrol Boosterjet engine. This engine made its debut in the Baleno RS but was soon taken off the shelves owing to sluggish sales. In the Fronx, this engine offers 100PS of power 5500rpm and 148Nm of torque between 2000rpm and 4500rpm. This engine comes with the option of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
