The base XE variant of the Nissan Magnite gets a decent amount of features. However, it lacks some essential features like an audio system. Still, looking at the cost of the car in respect to its size and SUV-like stance, one can easily go for after-market fitments. You only need to add some aftermarket accessories and you won’t feel like it’s missing many features for the asking price.

Nissan Magnite Base Model Engine Specs

The base model of the Nissan Magnite only gets the option of a 1.0L normal petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm.

While the power and torque figures are low compared to its rivals, the Magnite has a good power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratio, thanks to its relatively lighter weight. If you are only going to use the car for city commutes, this engine does the job. However, it will likely struggle to make quick overtakes on highways. The Magnite’s normal petrol engine with manual transmission has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.75kmpl.
