In this Maruti Brezza exterior review, we’ll explain the Brezza’s exterior in detail to help you decide if you should buy this SUV. We’ll comprehensively explain the details of the Brezza’s front, side and rear as well as the boot, and provide a final overview of the Maruti Arena Brezza’s exterior design. Please note that we compiled this review after driving the car at the media drive.

Maruti Brezza

Exterior Front

At the front, the 2022 Brezza’s dual-chamber LED projector headlamps and thick plastic cladding are the main highlights. The headlamp cluster is now slimmer than before but continues to get integrated LED DRLs. The LED turn indicators sit above the headlamp cluster. The low beam, high beam and even the fog lamps are powered by LEDs, thus offering a white light beam all around.

The thick plastic cladding at the edge of the front bumper will help protect the car’s paint from minor impacts in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The front parking camera for the 360-degree parking camera setup is housed in the front bumper. There is also a faux silver skid plate on the lower part of the front bumper.

Exterior Side

The thick plastic cladding from the front continues towards the side and becomes thick on the bottom part of the doors. The overall silhouette of the Brezza remains the same as before. The 2022 Brezza facelift runs on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There are side parking cameras mounted on the ORVMs for the 360-degree camera setup. Both the front doors get request sensors for keyless entry.

2022 Brezza

The rear quarter window of the new Brezza is now bigger. This makes the 2022 Brezza look longer than before, although the dimensions are identical to its predecessor. The ground clearance of the new Brezza remains unchanged at 200mm. Other notable elements of the 2022 Brezza’s side profile include a shark-fin antenna and roof rails. The shark-fin antenna has increased the height of the new Brezza on paper.

Exterior Rear

At the rear, the 2022 Brezza gets slimmer LED taillights that sit atop halogen reverse lights and turn indicators. Meanwhile, the ‘Vitara’ lettering has been dropped from the tailgate. Instead, it gets ‘Brezza’ lettering finished in chrome.

2022 Brezza

The thick plastic cladding continues to the rear as well. There is a faux silver skid plate at the lower part of the bumper. Notable elements at the rear of the 2022 Brezza include integrated roof spoiler, defogger, rear wiper and washer, and a rear parking camera.

2022 Brezza

The boot space of the Brezza remains unchanged at 328L. We think it is enough to carry the weekend luggage of 5 people. The rear seat can also be split-folded in 60:40 format, allowing one to alter the boot space according to their need. There is a 16-inch spare steel wheel under the boot floor, with some space to put a tyre picture repair kit around it. There are small storage compartments on either side of the boot, which can be used to put a tyre inflator. There is also a hook and a light in the boot.

Verdict - 2022 Maruti Brezza Exterior Review

Overall, the 2022 Maruti Brezza facelift’s design is an evolution of its predecessor. It looks modern thanks to the new slimmer headlights and taillights. The thick plastic cladding all around gives the SUV a butch and ruggeed look.
