Datsun is a brand owned by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan. It was originally created in 1931 as a separate division of Nissan, but was discontinued in 1986. In 2013, Nissan revived the Datsun brand as a low-cost brand targeting emerging markets. The first Datsun car to be launched under the revived brand was the Datsun Go, which was launched in India in 2014.
