BYD India are likely to showcase the E6 electric MPV at the Auto Expo 2023. Let’s discuss the details like dimensions and electric motor and battery specs, rivals and prices of the BYD E6.

Most Notable Features Of BYD E6

The BYD E6 is currently the only electric family mover in the country. While it was only available to fleet operators earlier, BYD recently launched the E6 MPV for private buyers. However, unlike traditional MPVs, the BYD E6 only offers seating for up to 5 passengers along with a large boot.

BYD E6 Specs

The BYD E6 comes with a front-mounted electric motor that draws power from a 71.7kWh battery pack. The electric motor produces 95PS of power and 180Nm of torque. Furthermore, the E6 offers a claimed range of up to 520km on a single charge. The E6 takes 1.5 hours to charge from 0-80%.

BYD E6 Rivals

The BYD E6 is a D1-segment MPV but it doesn’t have any direct rivals in the segment. The closest rival to the E6 is the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross.

BYD E6 Price In India

BYD offer the E6 at Rs. 29.15 lakh ex-showroom. It is currently the most affordable offering from BYD. The other offering from the Chinese EV maker in India is the Atto 3 SUV, which was recently launched at Rs. 33.99 lakh ex-showroom.
