2022 Hyundai Venue N Line Spotted Testing - India Launch On Cards

2022 Hyundai Venue N Line Spotted Testing - India Launch On Cards | V3Cars

A new test mule of the Hyundai Venue facelift has confirmed rumours about N Line variants of the sub-compact SUV. The Hyundai Venue N Line will be based on the Venue facelift, which should make its way to the Indian market this year. The test car sports red accents, new alloy wheels, and dual exhaust pipes - just like the i20 N Line.

With the facelift, the Venue will gain a new angular grille with larger chrome inserts, new alloy wheels, and updated split tail lights. The N LIne variant will add more visual drama in the form of red accents all around, along with different alloy wheels and a sporty exhaust.

On the inside, the Venue facelift could get more features than the outgoing model. Hyundai could offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, drive modes, and traction modes. It would be interesting to see if Hyundai also offer premium features like ventilated seats, a smart air purifier, and Bose sound system seen on the Kia Sonet. We do not expect any changes to the dimensions of the Hyundai Venue. With the N Line, we expect to see an N steering wheel, leather seats with N embossing, and an N gear shifter.

On the powertrain front, the N Line is expected to pack the same 1.0L turbo petrol engine that currently powers a host of Hyundai cars. The 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. However, Hyundai could tune the suspension on the stiffer side to improve the dynamics of the Venue N Line. Hyundai is expected to launch the Venue facelift and the N LIne variant in mid-2022.
